Gi4 started business in 2013 with our first subcontract to support the Project Management Office at the Defense Health Agency as they prepared for the transition to a new Electronic Health Record system. In our role, Gi4 provided program/project management expertise in the federal healthcare IT industry supporting the Defense Medical Information Exchange (DMIX) Program Office and its data exchange with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). We provided subject matter experts at this first-of-its-kind facility that assimilates all medical care into a fully integrated federal health care facility for service members and veterans alike.
